Meet Jessica
Jessica (Nicholson) Cocca is a certified speech-language pathologist (alum of Penn State and Towson University) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Her interests and skills include the following:
optimizing oral motor skills for breast/bottle/solids, speech development, and breathing/airway development
knowledge on the impact of oral restrictions (tongue/lip/buccal ties) on health throughout the life span
providing practical strategies for pre- and post-frenectomy care in infants and toddlers.
prenatal visits that will help new families feel confident in feeding their baby, pumping, and understanding supply
learning and collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to help families meet their goals.
teaching caregivers how to engage meaningfully through play to enhance language skills.
Jessica resides in Maryland with her husband and loves cooking, traveling, pilates & barre, dog-sitting, and being with friends and family.
